- Your visual acuity has been stable and has not changed more than 0.50 diopters over the past 6 months.
- You are not currently pregnant or plan to become pregnant in the immediate near future.
- You are not a candidate for LASIK and there is not a better alternative.

Verisyse™ is a phakic, micro lens that is surgically implanted behind the cornea and in front of the iris. Once inserted, you do not feel or see the lens once in place, nor can it slip or fall out. However, this procedure may be reversed at anytime for any reason. The actually procedure is done as an outpatient procedure and usually takes 30 minutes or so,
with one eye being treated at a time. The lens is used to treat moderate to severe myopia (nearsightedness). Verisyse™ is intended to be permanent however if needed the procedure is reversible. For more information ask your Center for Sight doctor, or contact our refractive coordinator.
